To bring creative freshness in learning processes DSEK holds Prayer competition at GHSS Kothibagh

SRINAGAR, MAY 31: ‘To bring creative freshness in the learning processes in the school education system’ Directorate of School Education Kashmir in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages organised a ‘Prayer competition’ at GHSS Kothibagh on Thursday.

10 teams comprising of eight students each from 10 Districts of Kashmir participated in the competition. This prayer competition, according to official press release, is part of series of Ramzan special program currently underway.

The official said that the function was presided over by Principal GHSS Kothibagh Srinagar Romana Qazi while as Wahid Jeelani, Gh Rasool Josh, and Qura-ul-Ain adjudicated the competition. Each team was given three minutes to recite the prayer. The programme was attended by a large number of students and teachers who were enthralled by the performance of the competitor-students on the stage

Meanwhile Director School Education Kashmir G.N Itoo said that such competitions are part of the large talent search creative programmes to provide students more chances to expose their talent and bring creative freshness in the learning processes in the school education system.

The results shall be declared later and the winning team will take home a prize money of Rupees thirty thousand.
