Speaker constitutes House Committees

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker, Nirmal Singh, on Friday constituted various House Committees for the year 2018-19.
As per the notifications issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the Committee on Public Accounts has been constituted under the chairmanship of legislator Ali Mohammad Sagar.
Choudhary Lal Singh, M.Y. Tarigami, Bali Bhagat, Viqar Rasool Wani, Abdul Majeed Larmi, Asgar Ali Karbalai, Javid Hassan Baig, Abdul Rahim Rather, R. S. Pathania, and Abid Hussain Ansari shall be its members.
Besides, Committee on Public Undertakings has been constituted under the chairmanship of Chaudhary Sukhnandan. Mubarak Ahmad Gul, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen Shah, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Usman Abdul Majid, Abdul Majid Padder, Priya Sethi, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Shah Mohammad Tantary, Aijaz Ahmad Mir, and Dina Nath Bhagat are its members.
While as Committee on Estimates was constituted under the chairmanship of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat. Nawang Rigzin Jora, G. M. Saroori, Chandar Prakash Ganga, Farooq Ahmad Indrabi, Shamim Firdous, Er. Abdul Rashid, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Kamal Verma, Rajesh Gupta, and Jeevan Lal are its members.
The Speaker also constituted Committee on Environment under the chairmanship of Ravinder Raina. Mohammad Shafi, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Abdul Rashid Dar, DeldanNamgail, Yawar Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Abaas Wani, Daleep Singh, Dr. Krishan Lal, Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi and Anjum Fazili are its members.
Similarly, the Committee on Petitions was constituted under the chairmanship of R. S. Pathania. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Choudhary Mohammad Akram, Choudhary Qamar Hussain, Aijaz Ahmad Mir, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, and Javaid Hassan Baig are its members.
Dr. Singh also constituted Committee on Government Assurances under the chairmanship of Aijaz Ahmad Khan. Mohammad Akbar Lone, Syed Farooq Ahmad Indrabi, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Abdul Rahim Rather, Rajeev Sharma, Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi, Jeevan Lal, and Anjum Fazili are its members.
House Committee on Privileges was also constituted under the chairmanship of Hakim Mohammad Yaseen. Davender Singh Rana, Yawar Ahmad Mir, Abid Hussain Ansari, Kuldeep Raj, Rajeev Sharma, Dina Nath Bhagat, Bashir Ahmad Dar and Mumtaz Ahmad Khan are its members.
