JAMMU MAY 25:  The Joint House Committee on Medical Negligence (JHCMN) headed by its Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Monga today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital here to enquire about the condition of persons    injured in cross border firing.

The Committee members G.M. Saroori, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Dr. Shehnaz Ganai, Ali Mohammed Dar, Firdous Ahmed Tak and Ramesh Arora were part of the visiting joint house panel.

The legislators interacted with the injured persons undergoing treatment in the hospital and enquired about their health and facilities provided to them.

The Committee was briefed by a team of doctors, led by Principal, GMC, Dr Sunanda Raina about the treatment being provided to the patients. The Committee directed the management to maintain cleanliness in the wards and surroundings.

Committee also inspected various Departments of the hospital and interacted with the staff.
