Prices skyrocket in Sopore markets, District Admin says will take strict action

Sopore : District Authorities Sopore  will be taking strict action against erring traders amid complaints that prices in the market have skyrocketed and expired items are being sold here.
“People are buying eatables 10 times more than the actual price, and accusation are that some shopkeepers are selling goods and eatables even after expiry date and goods are smell foul,” an official said, complaints have come to fore.
 Meanwhile excustive officer sopore Abdul Mateen told INS that we have reviewed of the situation in market in the begining of Ramdan.
“I will again visit a market along with food team and take necessary action against the erring traders,” he said.
 Additional deputy  commissioner sopore Ashiq Hussain told INS that the complaints have already reached his office and promised strict action against such erring traders.
