Jammu :- A BSF personnel was injured after India -Pakistan troops traded gunfire along along international border in Kathua and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
“Pakistani Army on Thursday morning started heavy shelling and firing in Hiranagar sector of Kathua,” official sources here said.
They also fired mortars in Samba sector, the sources added.
“One BSF jawan, who suffered injuries in the firing, has been evacuated,” sources said.
Intermittent firing was on while the Sub-District Magistrate, Kathua has directed for closure of all schools within five Kms from the border due to heavy firing.
