Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has asked people to march towards Lal chowk on the day Prime minister of India Narendar Modi is scheduled to visit to state.

JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday called for “Lal Chowk Challo” on Saturday to protest against the scheduled visit of PM Modi to Jammu and Kashmir.
They have appealed people of the valley to march towards Srinagar Lal Chowk on May 19, to register their protest against Modi’s J&K visit.
Calling for shutdown on Saturday, JRL statement said they have appointed a six member Committee which will gather suggestions from all sections of the society on future course of action.
