Anantnag: A 17-year-old teenager died after being struck by lightning near his house in Anantnag district of south Kashmir.

The youth has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Khan son of Mohammad Wali Khan resident of Brari Angan, Uttersoo in Anantnag.

Sources said that two other persons standing nearby the deceased escaped unhurt but fell unconscious.
