Fri, May 11: Government forces launched Cordon and search operation (CASO) launched in shahnagri mawer forests on Friday in north kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A top official told that a joint team of Army and SOG launched the operation, following inputs about the presence of militants in forest Area-two kilo meters far from Shahnagri village.
He said search operation is underway but contact has not been established with hiding militants so far.
