Udhampur Police today recovered 04 missing minors in record 6 Hours

Udhampur Police today achieved a major success by recovering 04 minors from Ludhiana, who had gone missing since yesterday night.

On 09.05.2018 late night, three persons from village Preyan Bassian Udhampur namely Raj Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Bittu Ram along with a deputation of people from the same village reported at Police Post Roun Domail late night that their 04 minor children namely:

*1. Sunny Kumar S/o Raj Kumar Age 16 Years.*
*2. Anil kumar S/o Raj Kumar, Age 14 years*
*3. Arun Kumar S/o Ashok Kumar Age 16 years*
*4. Rohit Kumar S/o Bittu Ram Age 12 years,*

.They are all residents of village Bassian Tehsil and District Udhampur had gone missing from their homes since yesterday evening.

Receiving the information, police teams of district Police Udhampur under the supervision of Sh. Kameshwar Puri, Dy. SP Headquarters Udhampur, and led by Inspector Sanjeev Gupta SHO PS Udhampur and IC PP Roun SI Khyatiman Khajuria immediately swung into action and started the search of missing children by utilizing human and technical intelligence.

During the course of search operation, police party came to know that all 04 have boarded a train from Udhampur and proceeding towards Delhi. Accordingly, police party of Udhampur Police alerted GRP Stations right from Jammu to Punjab and after hectic efforts, Police succeeded in recovering these kids from Ludhiana. Subsequently, a Police team of PP Roun Domail was dispatched overnight to Ludhiana to bring all the kids back home.

All that could not have been possible without timely action of Udhampur police, who immediately acted on the complaint of parents, generated the information, alerted GRP right from Jammu to Punjab, shared photographs of all minor kids with GRP and ultimately recovered the kids from Ludhiana Railway Station thereby rescuing the minor kids from getting trapped. Great and timely help was rendered by Punjab Police, especially GRP Ludhiana.

All the minor kids are being brought back to Udhampur by Police team of District Police Udhampur and further investigations are going on.
