Sopore,09 May: Representatives of various civil organizations includinig civil society, traders federation, industrial estate, bar association sopore, NGO Dawn, fruit growers and dealers association, teachers forum, Masjid Aima’s, press club sopore under the banner of Coordination committee, Wednesday  protested against the recent civilian killings in Srinagar and Shopian districts.

While strongly condemned the civilian killings at court complex sopore the protesters raising pro-freedom and pro-justice slogans and were holding banners which read” stop innocent killings.

Convener Coordination committee Advocate Mir Maqbool said that, “we can’t tolerate excesses on innocent people in Kashmir, we demands to stop further bloodshed, he said we are here to send out a message that government should shun its barbaric policies towards Kashmir, he added that it is time to give up the Ego and accept the ground realities to initiate talks.”

“Sopore traders have extended complete support to the protest programme of JRL, in case the ongoing bloodshed doesn’t end we will be forced to hit the streets,” Haji Mohammad Ashraf ganaie president traders federation sopore said.

President of committee Haji Anaytullah hajni called the ‘unabated killings’ a ‘Genocide of kashmiris’.
