Kulgam, 5 May: AEKVD Celebrated in Kulgam, In this regard RSETI Kulgam in collaboration with J&K Bank, LEAD Bank Kulgam organised function at town Plaza kulgam with the aim to increase the reach of rural Households to livelihood skill development schemes of Govt.

DDC kulgam Sajad Hussain was chief guest on the occasion. The others who were present are ACD kulgam Hilal Ahmad , Cluster Head J&K Bank Mohd Shafi Salroo, LEAD Bank District Manager Kulgam Ghulam Rasool Mir and Director RSETI Bashir Ahmad Bhat. Besides them a number of students and SHGs were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion  DDC said that in skill development RSETI and other institutions are playing pivotal role in making unemployed people self- reliant by providing them with best training.

    On the occasion  DDC Inaugurated a New training batch of 30 candidates for  cell phone services & repairs and  Distributed  Certificates to the trainees of outgoing batch of 35 candidates (women Tailor group) and also  handed over credit sanction letters to candidates who completed their training to start their business units.

         Similarly Ajeevika Evam Kaushal vikas Diwas was celebrated by NRLM block kulgam and a function was organised in this regard by NRLM were DDC kulgam was apprised about the success stories of SHGs. He applauded their efforts for standing against all odds and to become self-reliant. He also complimented NRLM kulgam for good role and distributed certificates and credit sanction letters to the girls who have completed training.

           On the occasion DDC directed bank authorities to create bank accounts of those trainees who still have not any bank account. He also directed them to make sure an easy asses to bank loans to these trainees enrolled in such institutions once completion of training for establishment of business units.
Similar functions in this regard were held in Block D.H.Pora and Devsar.
