Kulgam: Massive Clashes begun during a Cordon and Search Operation in Toli Nowpora in Quimoh area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.

Sources told that RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir police and CRPF initiated the search operation in the area.

As soon as the troops laid a siege in the area, people hit the streets shouting pro Freedom slogans, Locals said.

“The youth threw stones on the troopers who in retaliation fired tear smoke shells at the protesting people,” locals said.

Meanwhile the Forces have launched a door to Door search operation after closing all the entry and exit points to Nowpora area.
