Baramullah: Navy, Marcos, NDRF continue search for drowned kids

Baramulla :  Search operations continued on Wednesday to locate the bodies of 3 kids who drowned in river Jehlum at Diwan Bagh area of Baramulla on Tuesday.

Officials said  that National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams and local  authorities are on job to trace the missing kids.

“We resumed search and rescue operation again to trace the missing kids, a team of Navy and  Marcos, the special forces unit of the Indian Navy, also pressed into service to trace out drowned kids.” official told INS.

It is pertinent to mention here that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening,  when a boat carrying five persons capsized in the Jhelum after it lost the balance. However timely action of locals managed to rescue two kids while three are still untraced.
