Srinagar: At least three persons are feared dead when a boat capsized in river jhelum near Khansahib in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Two persons were rescued immediately, the sources added. Reports reaching INS said that a boat carrying five persons overturned in the Jhelum on Tuesday afternoon. While two persons namely Junaid and Azaan were rescued immediately, three others namely Anzar Wani, Shahid and Tufail are feared dead.
A police official confirmed to INS that the rescue operation has been launched with the help of locals to retrieve the trio.
