Drabgam encounter: Two army men, seven civilians injured

Pulwama: Nine people including two army personnel have been injured in the ongoing encounter at Drabgam area of Pulwama district on Monday.

According to local sources seven people were injured during clashes near the encounter site. While two army soldiers have received fire arm injuries in the gunbattle.

Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces on Monday morning during anti militancy operation launched jointly by Army, CRPF and JK police.

SSP Pulwam Mohammad Aslam however did not confirm the injuries.

“I am at the encounter site, cant furnish details now,” Aslam said.
