Anantnag:- A leopard entered in a  village Larkipora  area of district Anantnag and killed at least15 sheep’s in the wee hours on saturday.
Reports said that 15 sheep’s were killed and many sheep’s were left injured by the leopard that sneaked into makeshift shed for the domestic animals of Gh. Mohd. Khanday at village Larkipora Anantnag, under the jurisdiction of Police station Dooru.
The villagers informed that four leopard were wandering in the area from the wee hours of Saturday  due to which the people were in panic.
They appealed the administration and wildlife department to take immediate steps to control these wild beasts to stop any major incident.
