Critically injured civilian, Shafiq Shabir Shah son of Shabir Ahmad Shah, a resident of Khargund area of Shopian district succumbed to his injuries on a way to SKIMS

Police official Confirmed that Shafiq succumbs to his injuries on a way to Srinagar,

Shafiq had received a bullet wound in his chest at Laizbal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district after Suspected militants fired upon CRPF deployment.

Initially, he was provided treatment at district hospital Anantnag from where he was referred to Srinagar in a critical condition, but on the way to Srinagar he succumbed
