Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
On a tip-off, a Naka (checkpoint) was set up at Paribal crossing Aloosa in Bandipora district. The naka party challenged a person identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Hassan Dar resident of Nathpora, Bandipora and during his search, 620 grams of powdered form of cannabis was recovered from his possession.
