Aripal (Tral) : The far-off tehsil in south Kashmir’s Tral sub district, Aripal, is witnessing the worst administrative fiasco in absence of tehsildar from last two months.

Having more than 30 villages, Aripal tehsil, 10 kilometres from sub division Tral, is without tehsildar, after the previous tehsildar was transferred from the area, two months back, according to the locals.

Locals talking to INS, have said that, they are facing huge inconveniences on daily basis in absence of much needed tehsildar at Aripal’s tehsil office, to meet their urgent needs.

Additional DC Tral Riyaz Ahmad malik told INS that an additional charge has already been given to the tehsildar tral, who used to go there thrice in a week.

“A process to depute tehsildar in Aripal is going on and there will be new tehsildar in Aripal soon,” Malik said.
