BHADERWAH: PDP organised protest here in Bhaderwah sub district of Chenab valley  against the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua.

PDP youth activits led by its district president Doda Saji Mir assembled in the premises of the Dak Bunglow , Bhaderwah where from they took out a procession which passing through various markers culminated at Sari Bazaar.

 The protesters were demanding immediate action against those involved in the crime and also criticized JBA and KBA for protest and demonstrations

.Sajid Mir district President PDP youth Doda while speaking to protesting people , said that this is a shameful episode that some people and lawyers are trying the shield the criminals and nothing can be more evil and shameless than supporting the rapists and murderers of a girl child .He also appreciated the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Crime Branch for reaching out at real culprits and also appreciate the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for giving free hand to Jammu and Kashmir Police and Crime Branch . “We are demanding the justice for a girl. We need to change our attitude towards the cases of sexual abuse and violence. It is a huge social concern,” he said.“If the society, police and lawmakers get together, it is possible that such incidents won’t occur in future

” We stand with the bakerwal community and the family of the minor girl who lost her life , Mir said . “She was an innocent girl. The government should punish the culprit according to the proceedings of the court so that these murder and rape cases will be stopped forever,” said .
