Srinagar: Taliban has attacked a government compound in central Afghanistan which left 43 people dead including 25 Taliban fighters, 3 district officials and 15 forces personnel.

According to AP the dead include three district officials and 15 forces.

The attacker took place on compound in Khuja Omari district last night.
” District governor, intelligence service director and a deputy police official were killed in the attack, as well as 15 forces,” AP reports.
The report said that Rahmani that Taliban planted mines to stop reinforcements from coming to help the government forces fend off the attack.
