Kulgam: A minor has been killed in the ongoing anti militancy operation and clashes that erupted in Kulgam on Wednesday.

The minor identified as 14 year old faisal Elahi of Melhoora shopian was killed, according to initial reports, after recieving bullet  injuries. He succumbed at PHC Qaimoh.

Death toll in the gunfight has reached 4 including three civilians and one forces personnel.

The operation was launched in Khudwani area of Kulgam in late tuesday night.

Protests erupted in the area Wednesday morning and also in north kashmir over civilian killings.
