Ganderbal: Body of a laborer who went missing last night Arch area of Ganderbal was Friday found in Nallah Sind near Arch.

Deceased has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone, 35, son of Mohammed Sultan lone resident of Arch Ganderbal.

According to police Lone was working as a laborer in Nallah Sindh. “Last evening while returning from work with colleagues he went to back to the work site saying that he had forgot something there,” police said.

Police claim that they believe due to low visibility in the area he might have slipped into water body.

After Lone failed to return home, police launched a search.

“Today by the hectic efforts of locals and police the body was found in Nallah Sindh near Arch Ganderbal,” locals said .

SHO Nisar Ahmad Hurra told INS that lone’s body was found today and after medical formalities body has been handed over to the family.

“Case has been registered and investigation launched too,” Hurra said.
