Anti encroachment drive in Kupwara, SSP gives stern warning to violators

Kupwara: Kupwara police held an anti encroachment drive within the main market Kupwara on thursday.

The drive was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kupwara Shamsheer Hussain Chaudhary.

Chaudhary warned all the vendors and shopkeepers to ‘not encroach upon streets meant for pedestrians to walk through.’

“Some hoteliers and other encroachers  were warned that from tomorrow all the material on streets or outside the shops will be seized,” they said.

“Abide by the rules or  face stern action. No one will be spared”,  Chaudhary said.
