My govt committed to surrender policy: Mehbooba

Srinagar: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has complimented Universities of Kashmir and Jammu for improving their positions in the Union HRD Ministry’s rankings, results of which were made official today.

As per the  ranking status assessed by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Union Ministry, University of Kashmir has secured 47th ranking among the universities of the country, upping its position from 73rd last time and the University of Jammu also has improved its position by getting a rank of 51st .

With this, both these Universities have qualified to be ranked among the top 60 universities of the country.

In her message, the Chief Minister, who is also the Pro Chancellor of these Universities, has congratulated the students, research scholars, teachers and administration of these two universities for the good work accomplished with the hope that the same standards are maintained in the next ranking also so that these two premier academic institutions of the State qualify to be ranked among the top notch academic centres of the country.
