Militant injured in Shopian shootout, admitted in SKIMS

Srinagar: A militant injured in shootout last night at Ahgam Shopian has been admitted in SKIMS, Soura and has under gone surgery last night.
“Police authorities have learnt that one Asif Ashraf Malik S/O Ashraf Malik R/O Krawoora Shopian active since 19-10-2017 with outlawed outfit HM has been admitted with a bullet injury at SKIMS Soura where he has been given required medical treatment,” police said.
Preliminary investigation suggests that he was injured in the incident last night at Ahgam Shopian where militants from a swift car opened fire on an Army patrol, police said.
