Srinagar: A Kashmiri youth who had joined a militant group has surrendered before the government forces and returned to his family, reports claimed.

“Another mothers’ appeal to her son to shun militancy & return home gets response, God bless the family & show path to others,” Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid Tweeted.

However, the details of the youth were not disclosed by police.
