Srinagar: A youth from frontier Kupwara district was injured after he fell from hillside at Parimahal, one of the tourist places in outskirts of Srinagar on Thursday. He was saved by timely action by police.
A police spokesman a youth, who fell from the hillside at Parimahal while taking selfie and was lying injured’ was stated by a caller while calling J&K Police’s Dial 100. “The nearby Dial 100 response vehicle was immediately informed about the incident, who without losing any time, rushed to the spot. The response time was 7 minutes and the Dial “100” response vehicle shifted the injured youth to SMHS Hospital for treatment,” the spokesman said. The youth Fayaz Ahmad of Karnah Kupwara is studying at Degree College Bemina. “The police also informed his family members about the incident.
