Security guards foil attempt to loot J&K Bank branch in Shopian

Shopian: An attempt to loot a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Shopian district of south Kashmir has been foiled, officials said on Thursday.
“During the intervening night of 21 and 22 March, unidentified burglars attempted to loot J&K Bank Branch at DK Pora of Shopian which has been foiled, an official told INS.
The timely action by the bank security guard who fired few shots in air scared the burglars, the official added.
