Qazigund: An Army Soldier allegedly committed suicide in  MughalGund area of Qazigund in South Kashmir on Tuesday morning by shooting himself with his service rifle.

According to reports the deceased soldier was posted on Road Opening Party, ROP, duty at Veesu Qazigund on NHW1.

The soldier has been identified as Kulvinder Singh of 10 Sikh Regiment  while he was on duty.

The reports said that Police registered case in this regard.
