Train service resumes in Kashmir

Srinagar: Railway authorities resumed train services on Saturday after remaining suspended on Friday after two militants were killed in gunfight with the government forces at Balhama Khanmoh area on Friday.

According to officials the train services to south Kashmir have been resumed after authorities issued advisory for the same.

“Trains will run as per schedule i.e Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag- Qazigund to Banihal in Jammu region today,” officials said.
