Ganderbal: A residential house was gutted in a fire incident in Gagangeer area of Gund tehsil in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday mid night.

According to reports during the intervening night of 14 and 15 March a residential house of Mohd Ismail Chichi son of Sher Zaman Chichi resident of Gagangeer in the jurisdiction of police station Gund was gutted in a fire incident during night.

Reports said that fire tenders from Gund, with the help of Locals  reached the spot and doused the flames.

When contacted SHO Gund Manzoor Ahmad confirmed the incident and said 2nd story of the house completely damaged and the cause of fire yet to be ascertained, investigation is taken up.
