In an emailed statement issued here, a spokesman of the TeM said there are reports about loss of life and property in the attack but “details could not be ascertained due to the darkness.”

“Following the attack, the forces fired indiscriminately, causing damage to civilian property.” The JeM further said: If India failed to stop playing ‘blood holy’, its consequence will be borne by force personnel and those supporting them.”
