Blast outside MLA’s house in Kulgam, police says it’s too early to call it grenade explosion

Pulwama: Police on Sunday said that it was too early to conclude blast outside the PDP MLA’s residence in Kulgam district was actually that of a grenade.
“There is no evidence of grenade (blast) as yet. Don’t rush to conclusion,” SSP Kulgam said amid reports that suspected militants on Sunday evening hurled a grenade at the residence of PDP MLA Abdul Majeed Padder at Damhal Hanjipora -Noorabad in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
There was no report of any loss to life or the property in the blast, sources said.
