CRPF trooper ends life in Srinagar camp

Srinagar: A paramilitary CRPF trooper allegedly shoot himself dead with his service rifle at a camp in this summer capital of the state on Saturday, official sources said.  They said the trooper identified as Sukhdev of 79 battalion committed suicide at his camp in Sonwar Srinagar. The fire sound attracted the attention of his colleagues who rushed to find Sukhdev in pool of blood, sources said. Repeated attempts to contact Public Relation Officer of the CRPF did not fructify.
