Walnut tree crashes on house, family escapes safely

Kupwara: A family of seven Saturday had a miraculous escape after a giant walnut tree fell on their residential house at Jugtyal village of Hayhama in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday evening.

Locals told INS that as incessant rains lashed valley with strong winds in the area a walnut tree came crashing down on the residential house of Ali Muhammad Lone of Kotbal Jugtyal. All the family members were present inside house at that time.

The walnut tree tore apart the roof and broke walls of the house.

The family came out of the house safely.
