Ganderbal: The detachment order issued by Directorate os School Education Kashmir seems to have no takers as teachers who should have been back their respective jobs are yet to join teaching jobs.
Director education kashmir had issued an order dated 12-02-2018 order no. DESK/PS/265-2 for the Detachment of teachers.
“At District Ganderbal the order was not implemented in letter and sprit.
In this process some teachers who have vested interest remain still attached with the education offices,” sources told INS.
If sources are to be believed, these teachers who do office jobs rather teaching students ‘are given complete cover from officers of the education department.’
“How unfortunate it is the attempts made by Director education kashmir to improve education is not being cooperated by the officials of education department,” rued an official.
Chief Education officer Ganderbal Sheikh Mohd Afzal however claimed that ‘all the teachers have been detached’.
“The teachers have been already detached, however some teachers are physically present in the offices due to lack of clerical staff.
