Sopore, 26 February 2018: Police on Monday arrested seven gamblers and recovered fifty thousand rupees stake money, in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
“ The police had a tip off about the unlawful activity and police party headed by SHO Syed Mudasir Gelaani raided the place and nabbed them all. The arrested persons belong to different areas of Sopore,” police sources said.
A case, FIR No. 36/2018 U/S 13 Gambling Act, has been registered, and according to police, ‘further investigation has been taken up.’
