Baramulla: Indian Pakistan armies traded gunfire after fresh ceasefire violation by Pakistan near Line of Control in Uri Sector on Saturday.

Officials told INS that Pakistan troop opened fire in Tilawari and Silikote area of Hajipeer sector of Uri.

There was no immediate report of any casualty officials added.

It is pertinent to mention here that more than 20 families living near border areas of LOC in Uri were already shifted to safer places after Pakistan resorted to unprovoked cross border shelling.
