Srinagar: Authorities on Saturday foiled the executive body meet called by Syed Ali Geelani-led Hurriyat Conference at Hyderpora headquarters, sources said.
The meet was convened by Geelani to discuss several important issues.
Hurriyat (G) spokesperson said police sealed all roads leading to Geelani’s residence.
“A heavy contingent of police was deployed outside Geelani Sahib’s residence. Nobody including media persons was to enter,” the spokesperson said.
