Buchpora siege ends after several hours

Srinagar: The cordon and search operation (CASO) launched by government forces at Buchpora area in outskirts of Srinagar ended peacefully after several hours on Wednesday.
Special Operation Group of Srinagar and paramilitary CRPF had launched the CASO after receiving the information about the presence of militants in the area.
The CASO continued for several hours while no contact with militants was established, sources said.
Meanwhile, an official told INS that search operation concluded peacefully as no militant was found in the area. No one was arrested during cordon, he said.
