Srinagar: Police on Tuesday issued an advisory asking people not to venture at the encounter site in Karan Nagar, Srinagar, till the area is completely sanitised.
SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray said since there is possibility of live shells in and around the gunfight site, people are advised not to venture near the encounter site till the area is completely sanitised.
“The area is not clear yet and it needs proper sanitisation,” SSP said.
Two militants were killed in an encounter that starts on Monday early morning.
