Jammu: National Conference working president and former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday said since 2000, the state government has sent 50 requests to prosecute security personnel mostly army but 47 such requests were rejected.
Speaking in the assembly, Omar said whatever action was taken was done by army itself and “later these decisions were reversed”.
“With such track record, how could the chief minister ensure that FIR registered in Shopian killing will be taken to logical conclusion,” Omar questioned.
