New Delhi: The emoluments of the President, Vice President and state Governors will be enhanced to Rs 5 lakh, Rs 4 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh respectively, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced in the Union Budget on Thursday.
At present, the president gets Rs 1.50 lakh salary per month, the vice president Rs1.25 lakh and a Governor of a state is entitled to Rs 1.10 lakh.
