Baramulla: The posters of Zakir Musa, the chief of militant outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind chief – a breakaway faction of Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba Zakir – have surfaced in Watergam area of Sopore in north Kashmir.
The posters illustrating ‘No to Nationalism, No to Democracy, Kashmir Banayga Dar-ul-Islam’ were seen pasted on the walls and street poles on Tuesday morning, days ahead of January 26, the Republic Day of India.
This is the first time that posters of Zakir Musa have surfaced in north Kashmir.
Zakir Musa floated his outfit that supports Al-Qaeda. A former Hizbul Mujahideen commander had left the militant outfit after he was criticized over his threat to behead Hurriyat leaders for terming Kashmir’s struggle a secular movement.
