Srinagar: Ghalib Guru, the son of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru who was hanged and buried in Tihar Jail in 2013, and the brother of Burhan Wani, the slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander, passed the higher secondary school examination the result of which was declared on Thursday.
While Ghalib secured 441 marks, Burhan’s brother Naveed has secured 387 marks.
33,893 of the 55,163 candidates qualified the examination held in November, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education officials said.
The overall pass percentage is 61.44.
