Pulwama: Maintaining outstanding performance throughout the championship, J&K State Mix Boxing team bagged 21 medals in Ist National Mix Boxing Championship 2017 held at Golbagh Amritsar in Punjab in December 2017.
J&K state got third position in the championship.
In the event, Jammu & Kashmir players bagged 21 medals in total including 13 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.
In the championship, students from Satisar Educational Institute Pampore bagged 6 gold and 3 silver medals.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for forest, ecology and environment, animal husbandry, Mir Zahoor Ahmad has congratulated the players and wished them good luck in future.
