24 KAS officers retiring next year

Srinagar: Twenty-four KAS officers are retiring on superannuation next year, a government notification issued here announced on Wednesday.
Those retiring in January 31 next year include Rafiq Ahmad Hakim, incumbent Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Majid Zargar (Joint Director in the Directorate of Information, J&K; ), Mohmad Hussain Deputy Director, (District Employment and Counselling Centre, Kargil) and Surjeet Singh (Deputy District, Election Officer, Reasi),
On 28 February, Arun Kumar Sharma (Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K) and Jalal-ud-Din Ganie (Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Srinagar/Ganderbal) are hanging up their boots.
On March 31, Ravinder Kumar Pandita(Managing Director, J&K SC, ST &OBC Development Corporation), Mukhtar -Ui- Aziz (Director, Libraries, J&K), Ghulam Nabi Balwan (Director, Employment, J&K), and Gulam Mustafa (Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Kangan) are retiring while four officers are retiring on last day of April—Showkat Ahmad Beigh (Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department), Gulzar Hussain (Deputy Commissioner, Kargil), Ms. Vipan Kumari (Registrar Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu) and Nazir Ahmad Mir (Joint Director, Handicrafts, Srinagar).
Manzoor Ahmad Sofi (Director, Local Bodies, Kashmir) and Ms. Kamla Devi (Assistant Commissioner, Relief Organisation (Migrants), Jammu) are superannuating in May while Khurshid Ahmed Shah (Secretary J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination) is the lone KAS officer retiring in June. While Mohinder Singh (Additional Transport Commissioner, J&K) and Nisar Ahmad (Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Anantnag), retire in July.
In August two officers—Shokat Hussain Kazmi (Regional Director Survey and Land Records (ex- Office Settlement Officer], Rajouri), Bharat Bushan (Secretary, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Scheduled Castes) are superannuating while Ravi Kanth (Secretary, J&K Water Resources Regulatory Authority), Farooq Ahmad Shah (The then Custodian Trade Facilitation Centre Salmabad, Uri) and Davinder Pal Singh (Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Kulgam) are retiring on the last day of October, November and December respectively.
