Jammu: India and Pakistan on Sunday exchanged heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports said that the face-off began around 1:30 pm.

Repoets said that the armies used automatics and mortar to target one another in Shahpur sector of Poonch.

The firing exchange comes a day after four army men, including an officer, were killed and another injured after Pakistani troops fired on a patrol party in Keri area of Rajour
