Srinagar, Dec 20: Police on Wednesday detained the Awami Itihad Party (AIP) president and MLA Langate Er Rasheed at Zero Bridge here and taken to Raj Bagh police station.
Rasheed was detained while he was on way to Shopian to express condolence and solidarity with the family of a lady Beauty Jan who was killed by government forces during clashes on Tuesday.
